Today we spent the day in Fort Lauderdale with family. It was my sister’s birthday and my niece came over with her dogs too. After dinner we played Wii bowling for several games and my sister won most of the games. My nieces dogs are Tank for the large dog and Dixie for the smaller one. We had a great time and shared all our photos and stories with the family.
Tomorrow we are going to Church at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale and then it will be time to drive back to Saint Petersburg.
After a long journey it is always good to spend time at the end with family, so off we went to South Florida to visit everyone. Tonight we had dinner with my father and his girl friend at the Golf club near where they live and had a great time catching up and having a good dinner. We are spending the night at my mothers and tomorrow we will have a birthday dinner with my sister.
Last night we spent our last night in a hotel and went to Canaveral National Seashore to get our stamp in our passport book and visit our last National Park on our journey. Only took a few photos as we are now back in Florida and it was 92 and 80% humidity. At the park we noticed at lot of things that began with the letter “b” so we had fun finding. beach, butterflies, birds, bugs, bushes, boats, Bikes, babes, bikini’s, boardwalks, buildings, benches, bulletin boards, baskets, bait, buggy’s, banana spiders, blinking lights and the bright sun.
We also stopped in New Smyrna Beach at a Rock shop so Cheryl could find her last gems on our journey. In the afternoon we started our drive to South Florida to visit family this weekend.
